If we look at a typical breakfast of coffee with non-fat milk, a small orange juice, and a bagel with cream cheese… this breakfast can deliver 714 calories, 881 mg of sodium, and a lot of saturated fat. If you’re a woman on a diet trying to get to 1200-1500 calories per day, you just blew ½ of your calories for the day at breakfast, and did not get a lot of great nutrition.
