ViSalus Sciences Rewards Top Distributors with Vi-Cruise Voyage to Cabo San Lucas

(Los Angeles, Calif. March 22, 2008) — What started as a small wellness company has blossomed into a method for people to enrich their lives — not only through health, but through an opportunity to join the ranks of successful entrepreneurs and take advantage of incentives along the way. ViSalus Sciences, leaders in innovative nutritional solutions, rewarded its top distributors last week with its third-annual Vi-Cruise.The five-day, four-night cruise set sail for Cabo San Lucas from San Diego, Calif. on March 13th. Over 100 distributors qualified for the Vi-Cruise — a record since the company’s 2005 inception.
“The Vi-Cruise is our way of rewarding distributors for sharing our products with others,” said Blake Mallen, founder and chief marketing officer for ViSalus Sciences. “It enhances our mission to create a thriving center that offers incentives for helping customers achieve their health or weight loss goals.”
The Vi-Cruise kicked off on a high note, with a cocktail reception during the first night. “We wanted to get everyone together to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year,” Mallen said.
Winners of the cruise took part in everything from a zip line canopy tour above the canyons of Cabo, to city and historical land tours, kayaking, snorkeling and jet skiing, among many other activities.
“This is just one of our many incentive rewards designed to create lasting life memories for our distributors and their families,” said Chief Sales Officer Nick Sarnicola, who co-founded the company with Mallen. “We expect continued growth, and with that, reaffirmation of our core values — life, health and prosperity.
