Bimmer Fever Heats Up - Program Extension Announcement

When ViSalus first launched our BMW Program in late 2006, there were a handful of top leaders who immediately took action to qualify for their monthly BMW Bonus by achieving the rank of Regional Director. Before long, we were at a national event in Kansas City with 44 brand new Bimmer Club members! The rest was history…

Since that day, we have had an astonishing 688 qualifiers for the Ultimate Business Driving Machine, a ViSalus-branded black BMW. That’s just about 1 qualifier for every day since the program began, a number that far exceeded even our own lofty expectations.

Just taking a look at the stories we have created, the lives we have changed, and the pure Bimmer Fever that has swept the nation, and you probably know what we are writing you to announce today…

The Reid Family – 5 Bimmers!

One of the most amazing BMW stories in all of ViSalus comes from the Reid family. Picture driving down a street in your neighborhood and passing the Reid family home in Fishers, Indiana. You count them, one…two… There are 5 shiny ViSalus-branded black BMW’s in the driveway.

“People joke with us—are you running a dealership in your front yard?” said Presidential Director Bridget Reid, laughing. “Yeah, we’ve actually gotten new people involved with ViSalus who just drive by and stop at our house to ask what we do that gives us a driveway packed with BMW’s.”

Bridget, who got her X5 on her birthday at the Atlanta Founder’s Tour in May 2008, said that she and her mother were the first in their family to qualify for the Bimmer Club thanks to the easy-to-follow steps they learned though ViSalus Fusion Academy. “My mom got hers on Mother’s Day, it was really exciting and we took lots of photos.”

In June, Bridget’s sister-in-law Lindsay qualified for her BMW and got an X5 just like Bridget’s. “She actually had a BMW on her vision board before she joined ViSalus,” Bridget said. “She’s very excited. It’s her baby.”

Bridget next helped her brother Brian get his BMW, but the biggest ‘TOLD U SO’ moment was Bridget’s oldest brother Scott, who got a 5 series with the sports package this year. “He’s wanted a BMW since he was a little kid,” Bridget noted, “but was a little reluctant at first. When he watched both me and mom qualify and get our BMW’s, he finally said, let’s go for it!”

The sheer volume of BMW’s this one family has causes a stir when the Reid family goes to ViSalus events, but not everyone believes it at first. “To have five BMW’s in one family seems unreal. When people see the pictures at the events, it becomes real to them,” Bridget said.

Next up on the Reid’s agenda, they’re arranging a BMW tailgate party at the next Colt’s game. Good thing they have heated seats!
